Onboarding Medical Practitioners

Our structured onboarding ensures every practitioner is fully prepared, certified, and confident before their first shift.

Medical Practitioners (Nurses / Doctors)

Valid MDCN or NMCN registration certificate
Current practicing licence (not expired)
BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
2 professional references from a clinical supervisor
Police clearance certificate
Medical fitness certificate from a registered physician
Proof of relevant academic qualifications
National ID, passport or driver's licence

EMTs & Paramedics

Valid EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic certificate
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year field experience (Senior roles: 3+ years)
Physically fit — pass the Special Seals fitness assessment
Clean criminal background check
Valid driver's licence (preferred for field roles)
2 professional references
National ID, passport or driver's licence

Drivers & Fleet Staff

Valid Nigerian professional driver's licence (Class E)
Minimum 3 years' professional driving experience
Clean driving record — verified via FRSC
Emergency vehicle operation course (or willing to complete)
Police clearance certificate
Medical fitness certificate
Basic First Aid knowledge (training provided)

OND/HND or BSc in any related field
Strong communication and stress management skills
Experience with radio/CAD dispatch systems (advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools

Reference checks and background screening
Formal offer letter issued to successful candidates
4️⃣

Orientation & Integration (Week 4)

3-day induction covering protocols, culture, and safety
Equipment familiarisation and vehicle orientation
Supervised field shifts with a senior mentor
Final clearance and uniform/ID issuance

Day 1

Days 2–5
Initial HR Review
Our HR team reviews your application. Shortlisted candidates receive a phone call and invitation to the next stage.
Week 2
Technical Assessment & Interview
Attend an on-site assessment at our Ikorodu base. Includes practical evaluation and panel interview (approximately 2–3 hours).
Week 3
Verification & Offer
Background and licence verification. Successful candidates receive a formal written offer and contract for review.
Week 4
Onboarding & First Shift
3-day orientation, equipment training, supervised field experience. Officially join the Special Seals team.
